In terms of shooters of the time, I'm familiar with Doom and similar early-mid 90s shooters so I went into this expecting similarly mazey levels with perhaps some slower gameplay and half-assed audiologs. I just finished System Shock 1 (specifically the Enhanced Edition) and I was rather blown away by it considering it came out in 1994. If only it weren't for that damn control scheme.
